My Story

I'm taking on Blue Cross Rescue Run's 26.2 mile challenge to help pets in need.

From homeless kittens and abandoned dogs to neglected horses and unwanted rabbit litters, the funds raised through my challenge will help Blue Cross provide healthy food and a safe place to sleep to vulnerable pets.

They will also help Blue Cross work with pets to do everything they can to find them loving new homes, and help them treat sick and injured pets when their owners have fallen on hard times.

Finally, donations will enable Blue Cross to promote responsible pet ownership in schools and community groups, helping ensure a better future for the pets of tomorrow.

Back in 2019 I passed my grade 2 Saxophone exam and Bronze ice skating level. My mum, Janine, said she would give me £20 for each exam if I passed them by the end of 2019. I did this and instead of saving or spending my £40 I asked mum to take me to places to buy things for pets I.e. dry food, beds, shampoo, towels, treats, toys etc etc. Mum then drove me along with the HUGE basket load of items to our nearest Blue Cross Rescue which was Thirsk. We met the manager and one of the dogs. They do such an amazing job 365 days a year and even give the dogs a 'christmas dinner' which I thought was lovely!!

So please support me by donating to this cause I am so passionate about.

Thank you and wish me luck
